Three interactive paddles are used - each displays a row of 3, 4 or 5 cubes, aligned in a different direction. When any two paddles are placed togeather, their two rows of cubes are visually multiplied against eachother as a sheet of cubes (3x4 = a sheet of 12 cubes). When all 3 cubes are placed togeather, 3D multiplication if visualised as a larger cube comprised of 60 (3x4x5) cubes. Colour coding and consistent orientations are used to make this activity to understand.
